We often think of more commonly discussed forms of discrimination, such as race or gender, but ‘disability discrimination’ is a serious issue. Differently-abled adults are often overlooked for jobs or roles of responsibility. Children who are differently-abled are often ostracized or not included. Adults and children both experience mistreatment, unkindness, and disrespect.
When considering the issue of discrimination, don’t forget to keep in mind persons with disabilities. They deserve the same fair treatment as everyone else.
Furthermore, there are laws against this form of discrimination. Learn more on the ADA.gov website - tap this link ADA Laws
