What About the Children...
Through the Eyes of a Child
FALL 2024
This program will offer a summer workshop for children, parents/guardians, and caregivers. The workshop will provide information addressing the importance of recognizing childhood trauma and the effects it has on mental, emotional, and physical growth in children. The children and youth workshops will provide therapeutic, educational, and fun sessions, while the adults will attend sessions with therapist, educators, and other professionals to bring awareness to the trauma children face.
100 Men for Mental Health (Part 3 and 4)
SUMMER & FALL 2024
This workshop was offered in the Fall of 2023, and it had an amazing impact on the men who attended. So back by popular demand we will continue these workshops that will address topics that affect men's mental, physical, and emotional health. This is an opportunity for men from all walks of life to come together and discuss some of the hard topics that are often overlooked. 100 Men for Mental Health is FOR MEN ONLY!
Together We Heal
FALL 2024
These support groups will begin Fall of 2024. Each session will provide therapists and trained facilitators addressing various topics on grief, loss, self-care, mental health, how to transition and process life’s challenges (employment, relationships, illness, finances, etc.) This group will also provide social group activities.
Study Spark Learning Lab
SPRING 2025
This program will provide children ages 6-11 with tutoring sessions and labs (computer, reading, health and fitness, etc.). Children will be selected to participate by referrals from parents/guardians, school, or therapist. Educators and adult volunteers will tutor and oversee the program.
Women Who Dare to Dream... BEYOND
SPRING 2025
This is a program that is on the horizon for 2025. The program will support women who have experienced setbacks through life’s challenges and provide them with hope, healing, and restoration as they look BEYOND their difficult past. This will offer an opportunity for new beginnings.
